Job Description

The person shall be responsible for delivering month on month growth in motor insurance renewal premium as per business plan of the organization, under the guidance of Principle Officer.

Key deliverables shall be as follows:

# Financial: Overall responsibility for delivering the business and revenue plan at unit and at integrated organization level

# Business & Sales Promotion: Create business opportunities for the company by
– Joint Commercial calls with business development team.

– Ensure the active participation of various verticals’ teams in the unit to leverage their efforts in creating strong funnel for renewals and cross sell.

# Training and Business process Management
– Identify, recruit develop and manage team members and sub agents in the catchment area of the hub and achieve business goals.

- Train and develop manpower in system in line with business growth plan and training them in defined systems processes and control mechanisms

- To delegate responsibilities and groom talent to bring them to the next level

- Controlling Payment processes, policy issuance, Payout Reconciliations and Security issues

- Update on frequent changes in U/W norms and processes, IRDA and other regulatory compliances

# Sales Cycle Management
– Premium Forecasting

– Resolve all customer complaints and queries

– Collate and analyze Sales Reports of the team members.

– Plan deliverables for team members

– Review effectiveness and fine tune sales efforts to ensure the required intensity and depth

# Compliance and control
- Ensure that ONLY approved sales solicitation and documentation process of multi Insurance companies is followed

- Tracking and keeping in touch with industry and competition

Desired Candidate Profile
# Graduate with 7-8 years experience in Motor Insurance sales in Insurance brokers like Bajaj Capital/Religare/SMC.

# Individuals in Insurance companies with motor insurance portfolio can also be looked at. Individuals having worked at multi location brokerages/dealerships; e.g Landmark in West; JKM in NCR etc. shall be preferred.

# Sales experience/Outdoor customer facing experience is a must.

# Person having IRDA broker exam certificate shall be given additional preference
