Overall position purpose
The HR Business Partner will act as business partner to the Service lines in Chennai. The role is responsible for mobilizing the Talent priorities and assist in the delivery of all key Talent strategies and processes, identify and deliver new initiatives and assist the business in formulating Talent strategies.
The role will have a focus on building relationships with key stakeholders in across the Chennai location whilst working closely with peers in the Talent team.
# Provision of Talent advice and assistance to the Partners regarding Talent Priorities.
# Assist in managing performance and employment relations issues, in line with the Firm’s Values, in order to ensure risk minimization to the Firm.
# Provision of advice to Line Managers regarding the management of staff performance, leadership issues, workplace health and safety and general policy
# Project management of key annual Talent processes,
# Assisting the broader location support ( Performance management, manpower planning, Counselling families , SL specific initiatives and interventions
# Coordination of regular meetings with Division representatives to measure progress against agreed strategies
# Participating in the development and implementation of high performer recruitment and retention strategies
# Development of effective business advisor relationships with Client Group Partners and Senior Managers
# Provide day to day management and direction for the HR team

Qualifications, knowledge & experience
The ideal candidate will have a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or other relevant discipline, and have the ability to align people strategies with the business. You will also have substantial HR experience at both generalist operational and strategic level and will have solid advisory and coaching skills. Above all you will be a team player with a positive, can do attitude, energy, enthusiasm and a desire to succeed.
The incumbent should have an extensive HRBP experience between 8 – 11years
