Job Description & Candidate Profile
 

As Brand Manager, the individual will need to have a strong understanding of consumer and be responsible for delivering brand and category specific message through various media channels. You will also drive awareness and engagement and demand for the categories, and utilize global strategies and tenets to guide the same. The role's ask is to collaborate closely with brand and category leaders to develop unique Marketing programs, research, and activation programs and effectively adapt them for respective market segments 

Key Responsibilities : 

- Independently manage marketing operations for organization 

- Present and maintain a positive public image (participating in events, proactively developing media outreach strategies, creating and implementing product or service announcements-press releases, and product launches) 

- Coordinate the appearance of all organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc. 

- Strategize and execute initiatives to develop the right kind of marketing collateral (print and digital) in tandem with business marketing plans 

- Work with internal teams to drive organizational branding and proper positioning - help with employee engagement initiatives, executive and internal communications 

- Manage agency and vendor relationships critical to business 

- Secure alliances through marketing deals towards conferences/events as indicated by internal teams 

- Drive, plan, coordinate and execute special events and programs 

- Be aware of analyst reports, research in areas of interest and secure the same as per requirement 

- Be the mediator with creative agencies to ensure effective and timely execution. 

- Help plan and execute the company's annual event calendar 

- Identify and target relevant global events for the company for participation 

- Maintain and establish relations with event organizers and explore best possible events for the company to participate in 

- Secure and negotiate sponsorship packages, speaking opportunities and attendance for company executives 

- End-to-end event management including budgets, logistics, vendor requirements etc., 

Ideal candidate should have the below desired skills : 

- Demonstrate experience in marketing program execution, managing projects with multiple stakeholders and multi-tasking between various projects. 

- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills 

- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications 

- Experience in working with shared leadership and across cross-functional teams 

- Ability to understand technology changes and identify opportunities to promote the company and its products 

- Possess the ability to be flexible to a changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary 

- Ability to manage multiple projects 

- Strong copy writing skills and good conceptual skills 

- Exceptional communication skills - both for internal and external audiences 

- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters, maturity to deal with ad hoc responsibilities and excellent problem-solving skills 

Education and Experience : 

- Person with 10 - 14 years of relevant experience in the marketing communications with FMCG or large scale corporates 

- Marketing degree (Masters or equivalent experience) 

- Experience in a corporate setting, preferably in a technology company
