Job Description & Candidate Profile
The PA will be responsible to ensure business growth of the practice in a sustainable and a profitable manner in line with the Firm's Public Relations business strategy; provide leadership and direction to the team and ensure high quality of service delivery & customer satisfaction with focus on Key Client Relationships. The Partner Associate leads a practice area and is responsible for the development and growth of his/her Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Additionally, the individual will assist the Managing Partner and Practice Leader in leading the strategic business initiatives of the firm.
Education - Graduate or Post Graduate qualification in Business Administration or a professional qualification in the field of public relations or marketing communication.
Experience - 10+ years of work experience in public relations or the communications industry, out of which at least 5-7 years should be in a leadership position servicing multiple domain clients.
Strategy & Financial Targets - A PA is expected to assume responsibility for achievement of revenue, profitability and financial targets for their SBU, review financial and operational performance, and lead the business planning and strategic direction of his/her SBU in the Brand and Consumer practice. The individual should be capable of developing and implementing the firm's business plan for his/her SBU/practice; managing overall profitability ( income, costs, productivity) of his/her SBU and managing the growth of the practice
Business Development (BD) - A PA should be capable of driving growth of the practice/ firm by acquiring new business & opportunities.
Client Servicing - A PA should be capable of driving service quality, client retention & growth for his/her SBU; developing the strategy/annual/quarter plan for the client portfolio under control; providing counsel to senior members of the client organisation; conducting client training workshops on media, crisis, messaging, etc; developing strong professional relationships with the key client representatives and developing professional relationships with journalists, analysts and key influencers.
Knowledge Innovation and Quality - A PA should take ownership of inculcating and driving penetration of domain and functional knowledge and expertise across all levels though sharing of knowledge, best practices and industry developments. He/ she should be able to contribute to thought leadership in the industry.
People Management - Coordinate with Talent team for operational people matters; focus on key talent retention and development and conduct select training sessions as required
